Dear members

As you will know the 3rd XI achieved runners up spot in Division 6 this season resulting in automatic promotion next year to Division 5. The team will receive their runners up medals at the annual Palace Shield Dinner on the 9th November at Ribby Hall Wrea Green. We would like to make a great night of it so are looking to canvass members and see who is interested in attending the dinner. It’s a 3 course sit down dinner usually with some entertainment and a chance to relive the 2018 season, chat to fellow cricketers and clubs and see our skipper Jeremy Newman collect our medals.

The cost of the Dinner is £25 and each table usually seats about 10 people, so dependent on numbers we are also looking into arranging transport to and from the venue(for a small charge to cover costs), probably from a central location in either Thornton or Poulton.
