Parents Welcome Letter

11 Apr 2019 by Andy Brown

Dear Parent / Carer

As we are coming to the end of our indoor winter nets we are writing to you today to explain about what happens over the summer months. The last indoor nets will be today Sunday 7th April and we are NOT training on Sunday 14th April. Our outdoor training sessions will begin at The Illawalla on Sunday 21st April from 10am to 12noon.

As this is Easter Sunday we are aware that some families may have already made plans to be away so we are asking ALL parents to attend a “Welcome to” meeting on Sunday 28th April at 10.15am in the club house. The meeting will take no longer than 30 minutes and for those who haven’t been before the kitchen is open every Sunday morning for orders for bacon/sausage sandwiches and hot drinks.

During this meeting will we introduce you to the new committee and explain about what our season will include. This will cover

- The named coaches for each age group

- Training times and days

- Match days and dates if known*

- Selection / notification procedure

- Drop off / Collection arrangements for matches and training

- Special events at the club

- Training kit & Match day kit

- Equipment requirements

- Communications options

- Fee’s

- Sunday morning kitchen catering

We do hope that you and your child (ren) enjoy being part of the Thornton Cleveleys Cricket Club, and if you have any concerns, at any time, do please let me know.

Yours

Club Welfare Officer

Lisa Martin & Lindsay Elphick
